On imagination …

My intellect restricts …

but imagination; what of that?

Imagination .. A nebulous enigma; hard to imagine ..

A mind untethered drawing pictures from a source unknown ;

images seen with sightless eyes.

thought escapes thinking –

released to a landscape of language unspoken

where words take wing like migratory birds ..

that intrinsic spark firing the synapses of the soul ..

that metaphorical, that metaphysical leap in the dark:

the finder of diadems of diamonds

in spent seams of coal … .

  1. What a definition of imagination, o sentient poetess, and what an expression in example sentence
    ‘ where words take wing like migratory birds ..’…Thanks.

    Pure inspiration. Remarkable. Most meaningful poetry that has left me scrambling for words to comment.
    Flair to put refined thoughts in words as you do certainly descends from up above!
