Words, text,

what next?

The texture of sound, a velvety hound

with a Baskerville howl.

A black woven cowl

in the silence of cloisters;

a featureless face of a dream ; out of place.

Sea-urchins and oysters, corals and pearls,

abalone and amber in concentric whorls.

Fern fronds and spore

on a dank forest floor;

Night-jar and owl and a fox on the prowl;

predators and prey inexorable as day.

Hunters and hunted; a baying sound ;

Words, text,

what next?

      Welcome to my website, Katy …

      Thank you very much indeed .. I’m delighted to know that you enjoyed it.

      Actually, I had omitted one line which I have now corrected .. ( line now reads;
      ‘The texture of sound, a velvety hound
      with a Baskerville howl’ …
