Tregaminion … .

In a silent grove
I came upon
a memorial to love;
a grey stone Taj Mahal .

In this sacred space
I felt the world one –
A cool morning in March
and the heat of the Indian sun.

Snowdrops encircled
the chapel – of – ease
with a grace befitting a bride.
The love that raised
both marble and stone
endures still – unified.

It will not cease …
the pulse, the will, the unity
of the immortal heart ..
dwells here
amid the pure simplicity
of nature’s art … .

    Good morning Marya
I saw this link on My T, directing Sabina here. I thought, perhaps I would venture a look too, if that is all right. Quite a delightful place you have created here. Serene and stimulating. This poem is particularly beautiful. Very well done indeed.

Thank you very much for coming to see me … and for your kind appreciation of this poem and of my space in cyberspace … so many atoms of stars circling 🙂
