On the beach …

The end of land

in the anonymity of sand,

the beginning in the Miró blue sea;

the brightness of sun,

the whiteness of cloud

are blurring the lines to infinity …

beauty is tangible

but cannot be held;

the mystery of life

in the miniature hull

of a mussel shell …

on this wide shoreline

the prints of a seagull

are accompanying  me

where the brightness of sun

and the whiteness of cloud

are blurring the lines to infinity … .

    I’ve just found your blog. Is this a new venture? I like your poems: they slip easily into the mind, but there’s substance to them. Don’t post everything at once though … spread them out over several days or weeks to keep us waiting!

    Good morning and welcome to my blog. Yes, it is. I’m just in the process of setting up this blog .. As I’m not at all technically minded it’s a slow process and a steep learning curve.
    Thank you very much for your kind opinion .. I’m delighted to know you have enjoyed reading them.
    Thank you also for your advice … I have quite a large number to upload so it certainly will take me a while .. maybe years at this rate !

      That’s good. Keep them coming please, but nice and slowly so you can build a readership over the weeks. And don’t forget to write something on your “About” page. Good luck!

    Thank you very much for your good wishes … I have just written a few less than scintillating words on my ‘About’ page … reticent is my first name 🙂
